This Privacy Policy describes how Scanwell collects and uses Personal Data about you through the use of our Website, mobile applications, and through email, text, and other electronic communications between you and Scanwell.

These terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”) govern your use of our online interfaces and properties (e.g., websites and mobile applications) owned and controlled by Scanwell Health, Inc., including the www.scanwellhealth.com website and the Scanwell mobile application (the “Site”), as well as the services (“Services”) and products (“Products”) available to users through the Site. Scanwell Health, Inc. (“Scanwell”, “we,” “us,” and “our”) contracts with Scanwell Medical Group, P.A. ( “Scanwell Medical Group”) regarding online telehealth medical consultations and secure messaging between Scanwell Medical Group physicians and other healthcare professionals (individually the “Provider” and collectively the “Providers”) and their patients. (See Section 20 for supplemental terms applicable to Providers.)  The professional medical services (which are provided by Scanwell Medical Group) and the non-clinical Site services (which are provided by Scanwell) are collectively referred to in this Terms of Use as the “Services”. The terms “you” and “your” means you, your dependent(s) if any, and any other person accessing your Scanwell Account.

Scanwell contracts with Scanwell Medical Group, P.A., an independent, physician-owned medical group with a network of United States based health care providers (each, a “Provider”) who provide clinical telehealth services. Scanwell Medical Group, P.A. is responsible for providing you with a Notice of Privacy Practices describing its collection and use of your health information.  If you do not agree to be bound by those terms, you are not authorized to access or use our Website or our Application, and you must promptly exit our Website and uninstall our Application.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website and Applications. By accessing or using our Website and/or Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of our Website or Application after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.


2. Children Under the Age of 18
Our Website and Application are not intended for children under the age of 18 and children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use our Website or
our Application. We will remove any information about a child under the age of 18 if we become aware of it.

These include but are not limited to the following: information transmitted may not be sufficient (e.g. poor resolution of images) to allow for appropriate medical or health care decision making by the Provider; delays in evaluation or treatment could occur due to failures of electronic equipment; a lack of access to your medical records may result in adverse drug interactions or allergic reactions or other judgment errors; although the electronic systems we use incorporate network and software security protocols to protect the privacy and security of health information, those protocols could fail causing a breach of privacy of your health information.
